Location: Periyar Building, Technopark, Trivandrum About the Role  We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve complex business problems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale data systems, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI solutions. Key Responsibilities AI Model Development & Implementation

Design and implement RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures for enterprise manufacturing data Build and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for domain-specific industrial applications Develop natural language processing pipelines for query interpretation and response generation Implement embedding models and vector databases for efficient semantic search across operational data

Data Engineering & Integration

Work with structured data from industrial systems including databases, APIs, and real-time data feeds Process unstructured data including operational notes, comments, and documentation Build data pipelines integrating multiple data sources for comprehensive analysis Implement real-time data processing systems for alerts and anomaly detection

Intelligent System Development

Develop Q&A functionality enabling natural language queries on manufacturing data Build automated reporting and briefing generation systems for operational insights Implement intelligent alerting mechanisms with threshold-based logic Create recommendation engines for process improvement and decision support

Technical Architecture & Optimisation

Design scalable vector database architectures for production environments Implement security controls, role-based access, and data scoping Build comprehensive audit trails and logging systems Optimise model performance for real-time response requirements in manufacturing settings

   Preferred Skills Python: Strong proficiency with modern Python development practices, object-oriented programming, and software design patterns Deep Learning Frameworks: Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or equivalent deep learning frameworks ML/Data Libraries: Proficiency with scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas for data processing and  RAG Architecture: Solid understanding of Retrieval Augmented Generation patterns, implementation approaches, and best practices Vector Databases: Practical experience with vector database systems such as Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS, or similar technologies LLM Fine-tuning: Knowledge of Large Language Model fine-tuning techniques including LoRA, QLoRA, and prompt engineering strategies NLP & Embeddings: Experience with natural language processing, text embeddings, semantic search, and language model applications RDBMS: Working knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB) SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis Data Integration: Understanding of ETL processes, data pipeline design, and API integration patterns RESTful API design, development, and integration JSON data structures and payload handling Authentication and authorization implementation patterns Understanding of microservices architecture

Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) Understanding of containerization using Docker Experience with Git version control Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment strategies
