Senior Accountant – Client Operations

Brief Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant – Client Operations to manage financial operations related to our clients, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, client financial management, and taxation laws. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily financial operations related to client accounts.

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for clients.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST and other financial laws.

Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes for client accounts.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for client operations.

Reconcile bank statements and oversee accounts payable/receivable functions related to client transactions.

Monitor financial transactions and document accounting control procedures for client accounts.

Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit activities for client operations.

Optimize financial processes and implement cost-saving strategies for clients.

Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management and clients.

 Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent (preferred).

Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial management, and client operations.

Notice Period : Max 30days

Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), taxation, GST, BAS (if applicable), and financial regulations.

Experience working with accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems).

Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with financial modeling.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
