.NET Architect – Cloud & SaaS Transformation

Brief DescriptionExperience: 10+ years in software architecture and .NET development Key Responsibilities:

Lead the re-architecture of legacy .NET applications into modern, scalable cloud-native solutions.

Design and implement microservices-based architecture using .NET Core/.NET 6+.

Drive containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.

Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployment (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Guide and enforce best practices in SaaS multi-tenancy, security, and data isolation.

Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and QA teams to align architecture with business goals.

Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to development teams.

Evaluate and recommend appropriate cloud services (Azure/AWS) for migration and new development.

Define performance benchmarks and perform system performance tuning.

Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

10+ years of experience with Microsoft .NET stack, including ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+.

Strong understanding of cloud platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS/GCP.

Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Experience building and migrating applications to SaaS architectures.

Solid understanding of microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Experience with SQL Server, NoSQL (e.g., Cosmos DB, MongoDB) in a cloud environment.

Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM).

Familiarity with event-driven architectures, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

 

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Amazon EKS.

Experience with serverless computing (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda).

Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.

Previous experience in modernizing monolithic apps to cloud-native architecture.
