Job Overview: We are hiring an experienced API & DevOps Developer for an exciting 1-year onsite contract role based in Trivandrum. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in REST API development and DevOps practices within cloud environments (preferably Azure or AWS). This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact digital transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities: API Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure RESTful APIs using .NET Core, Node.js, or Python.

Integrate APIs with cloud services, databases, and third-party systems.

Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.

Apply best practices in API security (OAuth2, JWT, rate limiting, etc.).

DevOps

Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.

Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep (if Azure).

Monitor and troubleshoot production environments and deployments.

Work with Docker and Kubernetes to manage containers and orchestration.

Manage source control and branching strategies with Git.

Key Skills & Technologies:

Programming Languages: .NET Core/C#, Node.js, Python (any two preferred)

API Technologies: REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman

DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes

Cloud Platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS (optional)

IaC Tools: Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep

Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. (MUST to have)

Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in API development and DevOps engineering.

Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Contract & Compensation Details:

Duration: 1 Year (Contractual, possible extension)
