Major Responsibilities • Database Management and Administration • Security & Compliance • Install, configure, and upgrade database servers and related software. • Performance Monitoring and Optimization • Data Integration and Support for Digital Initiatives • Troubleshooting and Support • Design and implement backup strategies. Key Competencies • Strong knowledge of database management systems (DBMS) like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases. • Ability to monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance. • Understanding Linux and Windows environments where databases run. • Using logs and monitoring tools to identify root causes. • Proficient in recovery techniques and disaster recovery planning.
