DevOps Engineer Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, test and deploy the software framework.
  2. Implement and deploy automation tests.
  3. Contribute to the development of automotive product specifics.
  4. Learn technologies by being a part of diverse technical teams.
  5. Interact with Clients, earn more global meetups, grow professionally.
  6. Participate and contribute to design discussion with customers.

Requirements:

  1. System administration skills, including automation and orchestration of Linux/Windows using Terraform, Ansible, and/or containers (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
  2. Experience in monitoring infrastructure and uptime of applications, and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives.
  3. Proficiency with continuous integration and continuous delivery tooling and practices
  4. Experience in languages such as Python, C/C++, Bash scripting
  5. Demonstrable cross-functional knowledge of systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.

Must have skills:

  1. Ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of Kubernetes clusters through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization specific to workloads.

  2. Investigate and resolve issues related to Kubernetes, including network latency, resource utilization, and service disruptions.

  3. Implement security measures and maintain compliance with security standards within the Kubernetes environment, ensuring the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data.

  4. Automate deployment and management tasks using infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible to streamline network function deployments.

  5. Collaborate with development, operations, and network engineering teams to optimize network function deployments and service delivery on Kubernetes.

  6. Perform regular upgrades and patching of Kubernetes clusters to ensure they are running the latest stable releases and maintain compatibility with system upgrades.
