Lead/Senior Automation Test Engineer

Brief DescriptionWe are looking for an Automation Test Engineer with Strong knowledge of UI and API testing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing simple to complex UI applications along with exposure to API testing, which includes the framework set-up, maintenance, and ensuring quality across all deliverables.   Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and continuous integration activities. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline Timely reporting of bugs/failures of applications and close collaboration with the development team to understand the root cause.

 Preferred Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation. Should have a strong understanding of test automation framework development. Should have strong knowledge of UI automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc. Should have strong knowledge of any of these-Java, Groovy, Python, etc. Should have basic knowledge of version control tools like git and Bitbucket. Should have good, strong knowledge of API testing using RestAssured or any other tools/libraries. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
