Senior QA__Automation (3 months Contract)

Brief DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester with 5 plus years of hands-on experience in Selenium with Java & Jenkins to join our QA team on contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our applications. Experience with TestNG, version control systems like Git, and basic knowledge of API testing is expected. Exposure to API automation is an added advantage.   Key Responsibilities: ●     Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java. ●     Design and implement test frameworks using TestNG. ●     Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test strategies. ●     Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. ●     Identify, log, and track defects, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner. ●     Perform basic API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured. ●     (Good to have) Develop and maintain API automation scripts. ●     Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous test framework enhancements. ●     Work with Git for version control, branching, and code management. ●     Generate and share test execution reports and metrics.Preferred SkillsRequired Skills: ●     2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing. ●     Strong knowledge and working experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java. ●     Experience in creating and executing automation frameworks using TestNG. ●     Familiarity with Git for version control. ●     Basic understanding of API testing concepts and tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.). ●     Good analytical and debugging skills. ●     Strong communication and collaboration skills.
