As a Data Architect/Manager, you will not only design and optimize conceptual and logical database models but also lead a small team of data professionals, provide technical direction, and contribute to the strategic growth of our data capabilities.

Job Responsibilities As our Data Architect/Manager, you will:

Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable database models, schemas, and data infrastructure. Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Translate business requirements into technical solutions by working closely with product, engineering, design and other stakeholders. Select and manage database technologies and tools best suited for the organization’s evolving data needs. Monitor system performance, data lifecycle and data integrity, ensuring scalability, availability, and efficiency. Implement and uphold data governance standards, ensuring compliance with privacy laws and data protection regulations. Provide strategic guidance on data-driven initiatives, supporting executive decision-making through data architecture that enables advanced analytics and business intelligence. Drive cross-functional data initiatives and promote best practices across departments. Communicate progress and risks to leadership, while proactively resolving roadblocks in project execution.

 Preferred SkillsRequired Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architecture.

Proven experience in leading teams or managing technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, etc., are highly valued.

Strong foundational knowledge of RDBMS concepts, with experience in both relational and NoSQL databases.

Experience in the Networking/Security domain is an added advantage.

Hands-on experience with API consumption and in designing multi-tenant database systems.

Proficiency with technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and related platforms.

Solid understanding of database security, compliance, and regulatory standards.
