Software Test Engineer (Manual) Job Responsibilities • Design and Create Test Cases: Develop comprehensive test cases to cover end-to-end scenarios, including database interactions, regression testing, and bug retests. • Test Strategy Preparation: Assist in planning and preparing the overall test strategy for the project. • Risk Reporting: Regularly report on risks, issues, and progress to ensure transparency and facilitate decision-making. • Scrum Participation: Actively participate in Scrum meetings and planning sessions, providing insights and updates. • Development Advisory: Collaborate with the development team to recommend improvements and best practices for software quality.

Requirements Desired Skills Experience: 2-5 yrs • Proactive Team Player: Demonstrate a proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving within the team. • Strong Knowledge in SQL: Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and support testing efforts. • Analytical Skills: Experience in analyzing requirements and functional specifications, with the ability to create and review effective test cases. • Test Life Cycle Knowledge: Familiarity with various software testing life cycle models (e.g., V-model, Waterfall, Agile), with a preference for Agile methodologies. • Documentation Proficiency: Strong skills in documentation practices related to testing processes and results. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information to team members and stakeholders. • Certification: A certification from a reputable institute in software testing is a plus.
