Brief DescriptionPosition Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and data-driven Senior Director – HR Operations to lead and scale our end-to-end HR operational excellence across the organization. This role will be responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of all core HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, HR systems, compliance, benefits administration, and performance management. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record of delivering tangible outcomes, has experience leveraging AI and automation tools in HR, and thrives in fast-paced, tech-enabled, high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities: 🔹 Operational Leadership

Oversee and optimize end-to-end HR operations across the employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, employee records, payroll, benefits, exit processes, and compliance. Develop and implement efficient, tech-enabled HR processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Lead and drive adoption of HR technologies, including AI-based tools for recruitment, employee experience, and operational analytics.

🔹 Data-Driven HR Strategy

Build a robust HR analytics function that provides real-time dashboards and insights to support business decisions. Track and report KPIs across HR verticals: hiring efficiency, payroll accuracy, attrition, engagement scores, performance ratings, etc. Drive predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve workforce planning, retention, and productivity.

🔹 Performance & People Management

Partner with business and HR leadership to streamline and manage the performance management cycle, including OKRs, appraisals, feedback mechanisms, and talent calibration. Ensure fair, consistent, and timely execution of performance-related processes.

🔹 Compliance, Risk & Governance

Ensure HR policies, practices, and documentation comply with applicable employment laws and regulatory standards. Oversee audits, risk assessments, and policy updates across all HR operations.

🔹 Team & Stakeholder Management

Build and lead a high-performing HR operations team. Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Legal for process alignment, shared services, and employee experience. Be a trusted advisor to the leadership team on operational HR matters. Preferred SkillsQualifications & Experience:

15+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing HR operations Prior experience in product or technology companies with fast-paced, high-growth environments Strong hands-on expertise in HR technology platforms (HRIS, ATS, payroll systems) and AI-enabled tools for recruitment, employee service, or performance management Proven experience in delivering data-driven results across HR functions Demonstrated ability to scale HR operations, build shared services models, and drive automation and process excellence Strong understanding of compliance and labor laws across regions (India/US/global preferred) Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills

Preferred Attributes:

Experience working in global or distributed teams Certification in HR Analytics, AI in HR, Six Sigma, or SHRM/SPHR preferred Proficiency in tools like Power BI, Tableau, Workday, Darwinbox, SAP SuccessFactors, or other HRMS tools
