Key Responsibilities As a Data Architect/Manager, you will:

Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable data architectures, including database models, schemas, and overall infrastructure to support current and future business needs.

Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders—fostering a high-performance, collaborative, and excellence-driven culture.

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, design, and business teams to translate organizational goals into efficient and scalable data solutions.

Evaluate, select, and oversee data platforms and technologies that align with long-term strategic objectives.

Monitor system performance and manage the full data lifecycle to ensure efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with privacy laws, industry regulations, and internal standards.

Provide strategic direction for data initiatives, enabling executive decision-making through a solid architectural foundation.

Champion data best practices across departments, promoting data literacy and consistency across the organization.

Communicate progress, risks, and roadblocks to leadership, proactively addressing issues to drive timely and successful outcomes.

Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
