Key Responsibilities As a Data Architect/Manager, you will:

Design and Build Scalable Systems: Architect and maintain robust data models, schemas, and infrastructure to support evolving business needs.

Lead and Mentor Teams: Guide a team of data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, business, and design teams to align data strategies with organizational objectives.

Technology Strategy & Selection: Evaluate and manage data platforms and technologies that support long-term business goals.

Optimize Data Lifecycle: Monitor system performance and manage data from ingestion to retirement, ensuring efficiency, security, and reliability.

Enforce Data Governance: Implement policies to maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal standards.

Provide Strategic Insight: Offer architectural leadership and data-driven guidance that empowers executive decision-making.

Promote Data Best Practices: Champion data literacy and consistency across departments, creating a culture of data excellence.

Communicate Proactively: Report progress, identify risks, and address roadblocks to leadership for transparent, timely execution.

Preferred SkillsPreferred Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.

8+ years of professional experience in database development, data modeling, and architectural design.

Demonstrated success in managing teams or leading complex technical projects.

Relevant certifications such as CDMP, TOGAF, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Strong foundation in RDBMS principles, with hands-on experience in both relational and NoSQL database technologies.

Experience in the Networking or Security domain is a plus.

Practical expertise in API consumption and multi-tenant database design.

Proficiency in tools and technologies such as Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Talend, ETL tools, Hadoop, and more.

In-depth knowledge of database security, compliance practices, and regulatory frameworks.
