With 5+ years of experience, you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks, ensuring software quality through robust testing practices. You’ll play a key role in translating complex business requirements into reliable test strategies and work closely with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement comprehensive test strategies based on intricate business requirements, transforming them into detailed and effective test plans.

Develop, maintain, and enhance scalable automation frameworks using Core Java and related technologies.

Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to integrate quality assurance across the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Conduct thorough end-to-end functional testing to ensure product accuracy and feature reliability.

Create and run automation scripts for web and API testing using tools like Selenium WebDriver and Rest Assured.

Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to support continuous testing and streamlined deployments.

Monitor and troubleshoot automated test executions, ensuring timely feedback and high reliability.

Maintain high-quality standards in test case design, automation scripting, and documentation for long-term test scalability and maintainability.

Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with development teams for efficient issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

5+ years of experience in test automation using Java.

Strong knowledge of Core Java, including object-oriented principles, exception handling, multi-threading, and file handling.

Proficiency in Java Collections (Lists, Sets, Maps, Queues) and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, including dynamic element handling, custom wait strategies, and cross-browser compatibility.

Proficient in REST API testing using Rest Assured, covering request modeling, authentication, and API validation.

Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for test suite integration and automation pipeline maintenance.

Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, or Locust, with the ability to identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
