Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, MySQL, and RESTful APIs. This role involves architecting, developing, and optimizing high-performance, scalable applications, establishing technical standards, and mentoring junior team members. Roles and Responsibilities

Build, enhance, and maintain Java applications leveraging the Spring Boot framework, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions.

Partner with Product Owners, Architects, and other stakeholders to convert business needs into effective technical designs.

Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to support application features and streamline system interoperability.

Continuously improve application performance through code optimization, refactoring, and scalability enhancements.

Lead code reviews, guide and mentor junior developers, and help drive adoption of best engineering practices.

Keep abreast of advancements in the Java ecosystem and proactively apply relevant technologies.

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues to maintain system stability and reliability.

Uphold industry standards and organizational guidelines throughout the software development lifecycle.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

Minimum of 5+ years of professional Java development experience, with strong proficiency in Spring Boot and MySQL.

In-depth knowledge of Java SE and Java EE concepts, including multi-threading, design patterns, and JVM internals.

Solid experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

Proficiency in MySQL (or other relational databases) and writing efficient SQL queries.

Familiarity with modern version control tools, particularly Git.

Experience working within Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Proven ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
