cPanel Server Administrator

Brief DescriptionExperience REquired : 1+ yearsLocation : Tricta Technologies Pvt Ltd., Technopark Phase 1  Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled Junior cPanel Server Administrator to join our infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on experience in Linux administration, cPanel/WHM management, web hosting technologies, and troubleshooting production environments. This role involves providing L1 and L2 level support, ensuring server stability, performance, and security while assisting clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities L1 & L2 Support Responsibilities

Provide L1 support for basic issues such as:    a) Email problems,DNS changes,password resets,SSL installations,account setups.    b) Basic cPanel troubleshooting and customer guidance Provide L2 support fro advances hosting/server issues including :  a) Service failures (Apache, Exim, MySQL, PHP-FPM)  b) Resource usgae investigation, performance optimization  c) Advanced DNS,web server configuration,database troubleshooting  d) Malware cleanup, log analysis, and deeper diagnostics  e) Escalate L3 cases to senior engineers with full technical notes and findings. cpanel Hosting Management a) Install, configure, and manage cPanel/WHM on production servers.b) Manage accounts, DNS zones, email services, SSLs, backups, and service configurations.c) Troubleshoot cPanel-related issues such as: Apache /Nginx errors,DNS/BIND/PowerDNS issues,Email queue problems(Exim/Postfix)d) MySQL/MariaDB connectivitye) Perform account transfers,migrations,restores and server optimizations. Linux System Administrationa) Manage Linux OS : RHEL,Debian,Ubuntub) Handle updates,patching,hardening,process management, and log analysis.c) Write basic automation scipts using Bash.d) Work with virtualization tools like Virtualizor , KVm,VMware etc.e) Configure and manage firewalls, IP tables,security groups and network services. Server Moniotoring and Trouble Shootinga) Monitor servers using zabbiz,nagios,cacti.b) Perform system dishnostics and troubleshoot from logs and SSH.c) Conduct malware scanning, cleanup and generate security reports.d) Perform remote server operations via IPMI,iDRAC, and iBMC. Preferred Skills  Required Skills

Strong understanding of Linux administration. Knowledge of cPanel/WHM, DNS, web hosting services, and email protocols. Good troubleshooting skills for L1 and L2 tasks. Knowledge of malware types, scanning tools, and server security practices. Good understanding of networking (ports, protocols, DNS, firewalls).

Preferred Qualifications

RHCSA / RHCE certifications. Experience in hosting and data center infrastructure. Very good understanding of virtualization technologies.
