Java Framework Engineer (Spring + Kafka + Flink) Job Title: Java Framework Engineer (Spring + Kafka + Flink) Experience: 4 to 12 Years | Location: Bytestrone- Infopark, Kochi | Fulltime | Work from Office About the Role Bytestrone [ www.bytestrone.com ] is looking for skilled Java Framework Engineers experienced in building scalable microservices and data-streaming solutions using Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and Apache Flink. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize backend services that handle high-volume, real-time data processing and integration.

Key Responsibilities For 4–6 Years (Software Engineer) • Develop Java-based microservices using Spring Boot. • Implement Kafka producers and consumers for reliable data streaming. • Contribute to real-time data processing workflows using Apache Flink. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver features. • Write unit and integration tests, ensure clean code practices. • Participate in code reviews and deployment processes (CI/CD).

For 7–12 Years (Senior Software Engineer / Technical Lead) • Experience in architecture solutioning/ design micros service applications • Lead development of event-driven systems using Kafka and Flink. • Optimize application performance, throughput, and scalability. • Guide team members, perform code and design reviews, and ensure best practices. • Drive technical decisions, integration strategies, and roadmap execution. • Coordinate with DevOps for CI/CD automation and production deployment.

Required Technical Skills • Strong experience in Core Java (8 or above). • Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, Spring Cloud. • Deep understanding of Apache Kafka (topics, partitions, offset management, Streams API). • Working experience with Apache Flink for stream processing. • Familiarity with Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, and message-driven design. • Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

Nice to Have • Experience with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP). • Exposure to monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack). • Familiarity with data streaming analytics or real-time dashboards. • Understanding of event-driven architecture patterns (Pub/Sub, CQRS).
